DIY Industrial Bathroom Hardware

Since we remodeled our 1/2 Bathroom, I also wanted to update our hardware.  Because it’s a 1/2 bath, I only needed a toilet paper holder and a small hand towel holder.

I’ve always been crushin’ on the industrial / galvanized piping look.  I ALMOST bought them online.  Then it dawned on me.  A quick trip to the hardware store and I could easily do this myself!  The hubs was happy!

Here’s what I purchased:

SG1 004

1 – 1/2″ X 8″ Nipple (Towel Holder)

1 – 1/2″ X 6″Nipple (Toilet Paper Holder)

3 – 1/2″ 90 Degree Elbows

3 – 1/2″ Floor Flanges

3 – 1/2″ X 2 1/2″ Nipples

1 – 1/2″ Cap

SG1 009 SG1 011

[Toilet Paper Holder]

SG1 012 SG1 013

[Hand Towel Holder]

SJB3 017 SJB3 018

SJB3 022SJB3 014

I then screwed the floor flanges into our ship-lapped walls in the newly updated half bath. Want to see the whole bathroom??  Reveal coming SOON!

  1. These are so cute! And I’m sure way more affordable then buying them already made! I am in desperate need for new towel holders etc in all of my bathrooms. I will definitely be doing this! How much was it to buy the parts at the store?
