My front porch reveal is finally here! Let me say this, give a girl who loves to take pictures AND loves pumpkins, mums and fall…. you’re going to get A LOT of pictures!!!! My birthday was a couple weeks ago so to celebrate, we had a great dinner at my favorite restaurant (Inn Season Cafe) and we shopped for front porch decor! We grabbed a coffee on the way home and I decorated upon arrival. Mix the unnecessary caffeine (probably my third cup that day – Yikes) in with all the love and BAM, porch is done! Ha
So, not only am I revealing our cozy front porch today but, I’m also throwing in a little DIY. But, I’m not alone! A huge group of awesome bloggers are coming together to showcase some pretty cool fall ideas. At the bottom of my post, there’s TONs of post for your viewing pleasure. Also, be sure to check out #homeforfall over on Hometalk!
My love for reusing baskets has grown. My first basket project, that I absoulety adore, can be found HERE! FYI – These baskets are still hanging in the living room. That means I really like them. I decorate/rearrange way too much around here!
Remember those baskets we all used to put under our paper plates? Yah, these ones ….
I grabbed these ALL for $2 at the local Salvation Army. Imagine that, I was shopping at SA!
The hubs was running to Home Depot, so I had him grab me a 2×4.
The Dollar Tree had these letters. I taped them to the center of the plate holder.
Next, I spray painted them. Originally, I wanted them gray. However, the letters didn’t “pop” much so I added some black, darker around the letters and lightly around the edges.
I did the same type of look with the 2×4.
Finally, I stapled the plates to the wood! I covered the staples with some black paint. They were sticking out too much for my liking.
I found this Trick or Treat sign at Target many weeks ago and that was my inspiration for the colors on this sign. I wanted these two signs to work together and I didn’t want any other colors on the porch except white, orange and black.
I hope you enjoyed my Fall Front Porch Reveal. It’s really one of my favorites I’ve done thus far! Don’t forget to browse the links below for more fall loveliness!

Such a beautiful porch! I wish we could decorate ours but we live in a flat and have a common corridor which we share with the neighbours. I wonder if they would mind? 🙂

Such an awesome job!! Should be on the cover of a magazine. Are those flowers called mums?
Thanks Sara! There’s a mix of mums and daisies!
It’s gorgeous, and I absolutely love what you did with the little plates. I have a bunch in my house that I picked up thrifting one day, but never got around to using them. Now I know what to do! Thanks for sharing friend!
You’re so welcome! One of my favorite things is to decor the porch for fall!
