Good morning! I’m guessing some of you just finished with Domicile37’s Holiday Tour! If you haven’t visted their home, please do. If you’re new, thanks for stopping by. Today, I have a very special treat for you all. I’m excited to share our Holiday Home Tour. Warning: Picture.overload. A special thank you to Sharon, our host, over at Pretty Practical Home. This is the first of two Holiday tours this years so please check back for part two this Friday. I’ll be sharing MORE of our home then. I’d like to describe our Christmas decor style this year as vintage, retro and simple!
So, please come on in and make yourself at home.
Walking straight into our home from the front door, you’ll enter the living room.
It’s a mix of styles here, no doubt about it. However, it’s cozy and fulfills it’s purpose.
The rustic deer that guard the tree, oh how I love them. My friend Janet, owner of White Barn Vintage, makes them each year.
Our tree is filled with DIY and family ornaments. We will always have a tree like this in our home.
Each vacation, I purchase an ornament to remember our trip. Putting these special ornaments on the tree each year brings back wonderful memories.
This table is filled with vintage love.
These two pieces were my grandmother’s.
The snow fell right before Thanksgiving. Not a bad view.
A very good friend of mine who passed collected Nutcrackers. We get them out each year in remembrance of him.
Cool picture, eh?
Our trunk/coffee table is complete with a vintage tree and chippy basket.
Lets head into our kitchen. Our fireplace separates our kitchen and living room.
Our coffee bar is complete with vintage goodies and festive mugs.
This Santa mug was my grandmother’s as well. I’m obsessed with this rustic plaid thermal I found from Shabby Love.
I love changing out the decor on my DIY Barn-Wood Shelf. This vintage sugar bowl and bottle brush tree is the perfect pair. Again, I purchased this from Shabby Love.
You have to love Target’s dollar spot. I found this sign, skis and stand all there.
I collect thrift store crocks too.
Before we go, here’s a sneak peek into our new sitting room. It’s not complete yet, but I’m working on it. You’ll see more of this room in my Very Merry Christmas Tour coming this Friday! Be sure to come back for more.
Thank you for coming and I hope you enjoyed the tour. Please, grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the rest of the tours. Next up on the hop, Dream Design DIY.
